Mekelle Industrial Park is a flagship construction project in Ethiopia, spanning approximately 75 hectares with a total building area of around 100,000 m². ECH was entrusted with the design, procurement, construction, and initial operation of comprehensive water systems. These systems include a potable water supply with a capacity of 4500 m³ per day, domestic wastewater treatment handling 3000 m³ per day, and industrial wastewater treatment managing 2000 m³ per day. Our expertise ensures the efficient and sustainable management of both water supply and wastewater treatment, critical for the park's long-term success.
Relevant Processes

At the Baya Thermal Power Plant, we implemented dosing systems, chlorine dosing equipment, and combined phosphate dosing units. Additionally, we provided specialized chemicals for boiler cleaning and coating, as well as daily maintenance chemicals for a two-month period. These solutions are designed to enhance the efficiency and safety of the plant, reducing operational costs and ensuring reliable performance.
Relevant Chemicals and Equipment

In Thailand, Inventec Electronics is building a new EBG plant. We provided automatic dosing systems and high-efficiency sand filters to ensure superior water quality. Our comprehensive maintenance services help keep the water systems running smoothly, which is crucial for high-quality production and efficient operations.
Relevant Equipment

ECH provided a complete wastewater treatment and reuse solution for a factory in Shanghai, including the design and construction of a dedicated on-site treatment station. The facility has a designed treatment capacity of 10 m³/day, processing approximately 2,004 tons of complex wastewater annually.
The wastewater mainly originates from nine primary sources, including reverse osmosis (RO) concentrate, solid-state battery production effluent, equipment cleaning wastewater, laboratory discharges, and other streams. This influent is highly complex, characterized by strong acidity (pH ~2.8) and high pollutant loads, including elevated concentrations of Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), Total Nitrogen (TN), Total Phosphorus (TP), and zinc.
After treatment, the advanced treatment process ensures the final effluent consistently complies with the stringent Grade III standards of the Shanghai Integrated Wastewater Discharge Standard (DB 31/199-2018). The treated water is safely discharged to the municipal sewer network or reclaimed for reuse, guaranteeing regulatory compliance and promoting sustainable water resource recovery.
